OH Ramen, How I'll Miss You So -

I had lunch with Josh today at Himawari, one of our regular lunch spots (only because our other lunch spot, Santa Ramen, was closed). Wakame ramen with soy flavor - my usual. I'm going to miss lunch with Josh so much! Sad face.

Brentwood U-Pick & Hannah Nicole Vineyards

I've been wanting to go fruit picking for weeks, and finally we went on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon! Unfortunately, it isn't nearly as fun as I thought it would be.. so we went wine tasting! I ate a wine grape off of the vine at Hannah Nicle Vineyards, and I liked it! Like a tart little nature candy, YUM.

I did get to pick some yellow and white peaches though, which is really what I wanted. Tiana had super cute parasols in her trunk from a wedding, and THANK GOODNESS she did! Otherwise I would be all burnt from the sun. Oh oh oh, and I've been getting more tan recently. Well, I'm not as pale as I was before - I guess that's what I'm really trying to say. LOL.

Toilet Paper Shoe!!!!!

Because I still laugh at people when they have toilet paper stuck to their shoes - sometimes out loud, and othertimes silently. Because seeing the plastic bag stuck on the car made my day. Because it's silly moments like these that make life worthwhile.

9 mo. box

Almost exactly 9 months after I started working at my current job in San Mateo, my department was relocated two floors down in the same building. Instead of having our own spacious cubes, we now are four people to one humongous cube. I really don't see the point though, of having cubes. We're all essentialy in the same room, so we could have done without the walls. While packing, I couldn't believe how much crap I've amassed over my short time there. I filled up a whole box! Imagine what packing my whole room will be like one day.. SCARY!

The 'burbs.

I've always thought of myself as a "city girl" but I think that's because it's all I've ever known. I don't mind noise, and the hustle and bustle of the city is second nature to me. Although, as I get older I'm starting to see the upside to living in the suburbs -- namely the gorgeous weather and the safe neighborhoods. Wouldn't it be nice to have a lawn, and a home-made wooden swing for two to lounge on? I think it would be perfect.

And what's more, I think it would be so much fun to have a workshop in the garage to MAKE the wooden swing. Ah, suburban dreams -- what has become of me?
